Devil's Waterhole

About a week ago my parents and I went camping. We were jumping off the Devil’s Waterhole cliff. It was about 36 feet high so it was a bit scary at first. It turned out it was scary fun. We went back the next day, but as soon as we got there it started raining hard. We ran back to my RV and when we got inside, I heard thunder and saw lightning. When the rain stopped we went back to the waterhole.

New Niece

When my sister was pregnant I was so happy I was going to have another niece. She was born on April 15, 2008. Her name is Clarissa Ann D. I love her so much. She is my little niece, but to me she is my little sister. I will always love her to the very end. I can’t wait till my niece is 4 years old, so I can take her to school. The school that I want her to go to is Durham. Like me!

Frogs

Once upon a time a frog leaped off the table and ate the frog food. The frog said, "I want a girl frog now!” So, the girl frog ate the boy frog.

We have just begun!

We are third graders at Durham Elementary in Houston, TX. We have a lot of things we want to say.We hope to share what we are writing, reading, and doing in class.

We are the Durham Dalmatians and hope you enjoy reading about our activities.

This week we are completing the Stanford Testing and will be happy to return to our regular schedule. There are two 3rd grade classes: Mrs. Coats' homeroom and Mrs. Doty's homeroom. Mrs. Coats teaches math and science and Mrs. Doty teaches reading, language arts, and social studies. We spend 1/2 of each day with each teacher.

Come back often to see what we are doing!
